668 A 1960s wheel-engraved glass entitled ‘The Scream’ in memory of Dag Hammaskjold, and used for participants to take turns to raise their voices, decorated with figures, with open mouth and outstretched arms, indistinctly signed to base, 19 cm H x 14.5 cm Dia.  Dag Hammaskjold, born 1905, son of the Swedish Prime Minister, Secretary General of the United Nations 1953-1961, died in a ‘plane crash en route to a peace mission in the Congo, awarded the Nobel Peace Prize on 1961 – Part of a single owner collection 100 150
