Information for Buyers

Buyer’s premium is 15% on the hammer price plus VAT on the buyer’s premium (18% inclusive of VAT)

  • Buyers are required to register their name and contact details with us and gain a paddle number before bidding. We reserve the right to deny any person a bidding number if they do not provide the information requested of them on the registration form
  • Bidding can be done in person, online, by telephone where phone lines are available or by leaving absentee commission bids with the auctioneer. These will be executed as cheaply as other bids and any reserve will allow.
  • Payment can be made by bank transfer, cash up to the equivalent in sterling of 10,000 euros, or by debit or credit card in person – We do not accept customer not present transactions.
  • All goods purchased must be paid for and cleared by 3pm on the Friday following the sale
  • Please note we are not responsible for purchased goods after the auction, and strongly recommend that they are paid for and collected as soon as possible. Failure to do this could result with additional charges
  • Buyers and prospective buyers are deemed to have satisfied themselves before bidding, by inspection or otherwise, as to the condition and the description in the catalogue
  • Any mechanical or electrical goods are sold as untested and for spares only
  • Minimum bid of £10.00
